We engineer these boxes using heavy-duty B-flute or double-wall corrugated board with reinforced corrugated cake boards. This structure supports heavy multi-tier cakes without bowing or buckling under vertical pressure.
How does the front drop-down flap help when loading or unloading heavy cakes?
The front panel unlatches and folds down completely flat, allowing you to slide the heavy cake straight into the box horizontally. This eliminates the risk of smudging fondant or damaging delicate sugar flowers while lowering the cake from above.
Are the interior board coatings safe for direct contact with wax, buttercream, or oils?
We apply food-safe, grease-resistant aqueous coatings and wax-barrier barriers to the interior liners. This stops butter, oil, and moisture from soaking into the paperboard stock, preserving structural integrity and preventing unsightly grease marks.
Can we feature a clear viewing window without sacrificing structural strength?
Yes, we use thick, food-grade PET window film securely glued to precision die-cut cutouts. The clear panel lets venues and clients inspect the design without opening the box, while reinforced side corners preserve full stacking strength.
