About orbit packaging
Orbit Packaging is a UK custom packaging company based in [Town, County] that designs, prints and delivers paper-based packaging, including mailer boxes, folding cartons, rigid gift boxes and corrugated shipping cartons, to businesses across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
We work with independent makers ordering their first run and established retailers restocking by the pallet. The aim never changes: a box that protects the product, carries the brand and goes straight into the recycling after use.
Our story

A box is the one part of your brand that travels. Everything we do circles back to the moment your customer opens it.
Between our press and your customer’s doorstep, a box crosses warehouses, courier vans and sorting depots. It has to survive all of that and still look right when it is opened. So we start every job at that moment and work backwards: the structure that protects the product, the print that tells your story, and the board that decides what happens once the box is empty.
That is the orbit in our name, and it is why every quote comes with a structural recommendation, not just a price.
We are a team of packaging engineers, structural designers and print specialists who have produced bespoke packaging for UK businesses since [Year]. Each person owns one stage and hands a finished piece of work to the next.

Print and finish
We offer digital, litho and flexo printing with full CMYK colour and Pantone matching. The right method depends mostly on your quantity and your board, so use this guide as a starting point.
| If you need | Choose | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Short runs, prototypes and seasonal editions | Digital print | No printing plates, so small quantities stay affordable and artwork can change between runs. |
| Longer runs where colour must stay consistent | Litho print | The finest detail and the most consistent colour, including Pantone matching. |
| Printed mailers that need retail-quality graphics | Litho-laminated corrugated | A litho-printed sheet mounted onto corrugated board: shelf-quality print with shipping strength. |
| Shipping cartons with simple branding | Flexo print | Prints straight onto corrugated board; cost-effective for plain logos and handling marks. |

Sustainability
Choosing a material is not only about strength and print. It also decides what happens to the box after your customer opens it.
Paper and board are among the most widely recycled packaging materials in the UK, and most household kerbside schemes collect them. Our paper packaging is recyclable where these facilities exist.
Uk regulation
Since 2025, UK businesses above set turnover and packaging-weight thresholds must report the packaging they place on the market, and the largest also pay fees on it. Paper-only packaging is simpler to classify and report than mixed materials.
Uk regulation
Charged since April 2022 on plastic packaging containing less than 30% recycled plastic. Packaging that is predominantly paper by weight is outside the tax.
Thresholds and rates change. Check the latest GOV.UK guidance for your business.
